the temperature is dropping down into the 70’s/60’s (40’s at night! brrr!) just in time for the fair at the end of this week. i’m so excited! i’m going to either bake pumpkin cookies or an apple pie to celebrate the first day of autumn next week (and the first day where it’s cool enough to bake during the day!)

in october i’m hoping to make a two day trip with robbie over to seattle to visit my grandad. we’ll finally see what’s typical of washington- huge forests and scenic drives, followed by the water and mountains.

I can’t wait either!
